He was the stenographer and assistant to the Clerk of the House of Representatives. Although born in LaRue county in 1882, he resided in Bardstown, Nelson County most of his life where he was associated with the New Haven Bank.
RAPIER. J. Ekro, Age 86, died at his home In New Haven, Ky., January 8, 1968, at 1:25 p.m. Survived by wife, Agnes Stocker Rapier; daughters, Mrs. Frank Clrlllo, Brooklyn, N.Y., Miss
Suzanne Rapier, New York City and Sr. Eleanor, OSU, Maple Mount, Ky.; sons J. Ekro Rapier Jr., Ridgewood, N.J., and Louis E Rapier, Seattle, Wash. Funeral services will be from St. Catherine Church, New Haven, Thursday, January 11th, at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Catherine Cemetery. Remains are at the Greenwell Funeral nome, New Haven.
