Ran away from home in New Haven, KY in August of 1930 at age 11. It was a feared that she may have fallen into the Rolling Fork River. She was found a day later in Huntington, WV, wearing her pajamas, a sweater, cap and stockings. She had been picked up by a man on the New Haven Pike and driven all night to Ashland, KY. She was abandoned there in the morning. She boarded a streetcar to Huntington, WV, and was found there wandering the streets. Ekro had to go get her. She later said she left because she wanted to go to Egypt. As a child she was known to have nervousness, lapse of memory, and occasional wants to wander.

Never married. Lived in Soho, NY. 119
