Mrs. Helen West, 59, of Woodstock, died suddenly Wednesday night at her residence. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Alexander and Helena Glad Stimatz. She had resided in Woodstock since 1933 and was a member of the Tuesday Club. Surviving are her husband, William E. West; two sons, William R. West and Donald A. West, both of Woodstock; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Maguire of Alexandria Bay; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Michael Yess of New Paltz and Abraham Cohen of Brooklyn. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p. m. at the Lasher Funerral Horne Inc ., Woodstock. The Rev. James W. Cook, pastor of the Overlook Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in tile Woodstock Cemetery. Frlends may call at the funeral home Friday 7 to 9 p. m.
