MARY ALBERTA BOONE, 82, of Howardstown, died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a native of New Hope. She was a former employee of the old New Haven Drug Store. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown. She was the daughter of the late Victor Ivo and Mary Willie Watson Boone. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jane Boone; seven sisters, Mary Jesse Cecil, Louise and Willie Sweat, Stella Hall, Bernadette, Margaret Ellen and Elizabeth Boone; and five brothers, Felix, David, Miles, Ivo and Crippes Boone. She is survived by her husband, Aloysious DeLime Boone; three daughters, Elaine South of Prestonburg, Margaret Anne Poole of Louisville and Phyllis Fritts of Elizabethtown; three sons, Mike Boone of Bardstown, Kenny Boone of Lanesville, Ind., and Tommy Boone of Galveston, Texas; one sister, Kathleen Hagan of New Haven; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Howardstown. Fr. James Mudd and Fr. Robert Brown are officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A prayer service was conducted on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. The family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church Cemetery Fund. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ALOYSIOUS DELIME BOONE, 91, Howardstown, died Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Kensington Manor, Elizabethtown. He was a native of Howardstown, a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, employee of the former J. W. Dant Distillery, Gethsemane and retiree of the General Electric Co. Appliance Park, Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin and Susie Mattingly Boone; wife, Alberta Boone, a daughter, Betty Jane Boone; four brothers, John Boone, Louis Boone, Tony Boone and the Rev. Lawrence Boone; and two sisters, Catherine Wine and Agnes Boone. Survivors include three daughters, Elaine South, Rineyville; Phyllis Fritts of Cecilia; and Margaret Anne Poole, Louisville; three sons, Mike Boone, Bardstown; Kenny Boone, Lanesville, Ind.; and Tom Boone, Galveston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Mary Hicks, Bardstown; and Theresa Hargadon, Dallas; and two brothers, Adolph Boone, Howardstown; and James "Jimmy" Boone, Louisville. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Howardstown, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Mike Tobin is officiating. Visitation is 3-5 p.m. Monday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven. A prayer service will be 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, is in charge of the arrangements.
