MRS. GEORGE WINE, REGISTERED NURSE, DIES IN LOUISVILLE - A Howardstown native, Mrs. George Wine, 66, of Louisville, died unexpectedly at 9:30 Monday evening, September 11, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville. She was the former Catherine Boone, daughter of the late James and Susie Boone, of Howardstown, and was a registered nurse, formerly employed at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Hicks and Mrs. Herbert Boone, both of New Haven; and Mrs. Theresa Lagerstrom, of Pleasure Ridge Park; seven brothers, Lewis Boone, Prophetstown, Illinois; Rev. Lawrence Boone, New Haven; Jimmy Boone, Louisville; John, Delime, Anthony and Adolph Boone, all of Howardstown. Funeral Mass will be offered this morning (Thursday) at St. Louis Bertrand Church, Louisville. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at Owens Funeral Home, Dixie Highway, Louisville.
