BERNARD A. MATTINGLY, SR. Funeral services for Bernard A. Mattingly, Sr., 41, of 461 East Adair Street, who died at 2:15 o'clock Friday afternoon in Waverly Hills Sanatorium, will be held at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning in McDaniel's Chapel, 4339 Park Boulevard, and at 9 o'clock in St. Leo Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Surviving are a son, Bernard A. Mattingly, Jr.; his father, Thomas A. Mattingly; two brothers, Thomas W. and Joseph Mattingly, the latter of Bardstown, and two sisters, Mrs. Leonard Hinkel and Mrs. Owen Davis (Note, per D. Bohn: This is incorrect. His sister is Mrs. Thomas Orion Downs.). Buried, 12-23-1935, in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, Ky; Section 25; Row 17; Grave 32. He is in a single grave and has no marker.
