Mrs. Sue A. Hinkel, 52, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday at her residence, 1138 S. 7th. Survivors are her husband, Leonard Hinkel; three sons, Leonard Hinkel, Jr., Delbert Hinkel and Corp. Freddie Hinkel, Camp Cooke, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Joseph Abell, Mrs. Vernon Grasch, Mrs. Elmer L. Davenport, Miss Sue Hinkel, Miss Lola Hinkel and Miss Ruby Hinkel; her father, T. A. Mattingly; two brothers, Thomas Mattingly and Joseph Mattingly; and seven grandchildren.

Devoted mother of Leonard, Jr., Delbert and Corporal Freddie Hinkel, Mrs. Joseph Abell, Mrs. Vernon Grasch, Mrs. Elmer L. Davenport, Misses Ruby, Lola and Sue M. Hinkel. Survived also by her father, T. A. Mattingly; 2 brothers, Joseph and Thomas Mattingly; sister, Mrs. T. O. Downs and 7 grandchildren. Funeral from McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd., Monday, March 8, at 8:40 a.m., from St. Leo's Church at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Andrew Cemetery.
