Mary Bell Howell was a daughter of Samuel C. Howell and Mary Elizabeth Young Howell. She married William Nathan Hall on 27 August 1893 in Green County, Kentucky at her parents home. Two children of this marriage died at a young age. Mary E. on 28 July 1894 and Annie B. on 8 Jul 1898.
I suspect childbirth was the cause of Mary Bell's death. However, I cannot explain the discrepancy in dates. Annie B. was born on 5 July 1898 and Mary Bell's death date is given as 23 June 1898.
After her death, William Nathan Hall married Ida Lewis Underwood on 25 Dec 1900. She was a daughter of Louis Jackson Underwood (1841-1916) and Mary Jane Warren (1848-1908). William and Ida had 5 children. the first 3 were born in Kentucky and the last two were born in Los Angeles, California. The last child was born 4 May 1914.
William Nathan Hall is reported to be buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California. He died 19 September 1958. Ida preceded him in death on 24 May 1954 in Torrance, Los Angeles, California.
