Wade Drury Triplett, Jr. was the son of Wade Drury Triplett, Sr., and Mary Walters Triplett. He was reared in La Porte Texas. Wade joined the navy at age 17 and and served on Okinawa during World War II.
He was employed for 35 years by Du Pont de Nemours in La Porte, where he worked as an equipment operator. He is survived by his wife, Letha Rae Jones Triplett, sons Allen Douglas Triplett and Randy Doyle Triplett; grandchildren Lisa Triplett Napier, Lori Triplett Worden, Jennifer Triplett Murray, and Janell Triplett McPhail.
Wade died unexpectedly of a heart attack on November 8, 1985. He is deeply missed by all who loved him.
