Wade D. Triplett was born in Custer, Kentucky, September 26, 1899. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Triplett of La Porte with whom he came here in 1911. At the time of his death he was engaged with his uncle, Mr. Retus Triplett of La Porte in the contracting business. Mr. Triplett is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Triplett, nee Walters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Walters of La Porte; two daughters, Lucille Agnes Triplett and Marian Louise Triplett; one son, Wade Druey Triplett, Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silas Taylor Triplett of La Porte; three sisters, Mrs. Jacy Hale, Mrs. Lucy Zama and Miss Lila Triplett of Houston; Misses Mary Lena and Vivian Triplett of La Porte and one brother, Lee Triplett of Highlands, Texas. He is also survived by four uncles, Retus, Dewey, and Tom Triplett of La Porte and Alfred Triplett of Custer, Kentucky; and his grandmother, Mrs. Rosy Triplett of La Porte. There are four generations of the Triplett family living in La Porte. The News extends their sympathy to the family in their time of bereavement.
