Succeeded his father in 1905 as President of the Mobile register Company. After the newspaper’s sale in 1901, he moved to Atlanta, GA where he became one of Georgia’s first certified public accountants.

Lived in Atlanta.

Became Regional Auditor for the Federal Public Works under the Roosevelt Administration.
