Thomas was a son of John Boon(e) & Elizabeth Howard. Grandson of Walter "Wattie" Boone & Mildred Edelen. He married Mary Eleanor "Ellen" Ice on 18 Jan 1853 at St. Catherine Church, New Haven. There were 5 children born to them: Mary Alice (1854-1926) wife of George Thomas Burch (1850-1946); Robert James (1856-1919) husband of Nancy "Nannie" Ford (1857-1909); William Henry (1858-1936) husband of Elizabeth A. "Bettie" Bowling (1856-1908); Nancy E. (1860-1930-40) wife of Robert Monroe Ford (1854-1934); and John (1863-died young). Four of Thomas & Ellen's children are buried at St. Catherine's....Alice, Robert, William, & John. Daughter Nancy & husband Robert moved to California (San Diego area) and are buried in CA. A daughter of Nancy & Robert M. Ford...Polly Ann, married a brother of the wife of James Leonard Boone. James was a grandson of Thomas & Ellen Ice Boone.
