Lafollette, John (Private) - John Lafollette, the son of Squire Lafollette and Matilda Thompson, was born about 1842 in Larue County. Kentucky. A farmer. Lafollette was 5' 10'. with a dark complexion. gray eyes. and brown hair. Lafollette was captured at the Battle of Stones River. December 31. 1862. and paroled at City Point. Virginia. on January 16. 1863. Private Lafollette was wounded in the right hip at the Battle of Chickamauga. September 20. 1863.
