Eugene Howard Dies At Hospital
Eugene Howard, retired Nelson County Farmer, who had resided here for the past ten years, died at 3 p.m. Thursday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, after an extended illness.
A number of neices and nephews survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Eugene Howard Dies At Hospital
Mrs. Alberta Brewster Howard, wife of Eugene Howard, of this city, died about midnight Tuesday at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, where she had been a patient for about ten days. She had been ill for the past six and a half years. She was seventy-three years of age.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Ed Brewster of Tacoma, Washington, and Ben Brewster, of Florida, and a great neice, Mrs. Helen Smith Brown, whom Mr. and Mrs. Howard had reared.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard resided at Howardstown many years before moving here a few years ago.
The remains are at Williams and Miller & Sego Funeral Home here.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at Hodgenville Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.
