John Howard of Howardstown in Nelson Co., died at his home on Tuesday of heart disease. Was 68 years old. His wife died last September. Was a brother to Austin Howard of Howardstown. He was the father of 4 boys and 6 girls, all survive him.
John is the one his father didn’t leave anything to in his will, as he drank and gambled, so Cecelia got his share. Unfortunately, she died and then John wanted a court fight over that property (it was going to the kids). Then John up and died too.77
