MARY AGNES BOONE, 82, of New Haven, died on Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. The Howardstown native was the daughter of the late James F. and Susie Mattingly Boone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Boone, and two brothers, Father Lawrence Boone and John Boone. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and its Altar Society and a homemaker. Survivors include seven sons, Joe Lawrence Boone of Durham, Conn., Jerry, Sammie, Carroll, Bernie, Allan and Stevie Boone, all of New Haven; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Margaret Mary) Hicks of New Haven and Theresa Hargadon of Memphis, Tenn.; and five brothers, Jimmy Boone of Louisville, Louis Boone of Prophetstown, IL., Anthony, Adolph and Delime Boone, all of Howardstown. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, 1994, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven. Father Clarence Howard, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

JOSEPH H. BOONE, 86. A New Haven resident, Joseph Herbert Boone, 86, died at 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, 1994, at Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Pewee Valley. A native of the Boone's Mill section of Nelson County, he was the son of the late Samuel and Regina Wimsatt Boone and was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven. He was a farmer and a retired employee of the Joseph E. Seagrams and Sons Distillery at Athertonville, where he had worked in the dryhouse for 20 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Gilbert, John, Bill and Edgar Boone, and a sister, Sister Bertina Boone, Sister of Loretto. Survivors include his wife, Mary Agnes Boone; seven sons, Jerry, Sammy, Carroll, Allan, Bernie and Stevie Boone, all of New Haven; and Joe Lawrence Boone of Durham, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; and two sisters, Daisy Boone and Kathleen Clayton, both of Louisville. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Catherine Catholic Church in New Haven with the Rev. Clarence Howard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Funeral vigil services were held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph L.
