Fennessy T. Howard, 91, a former mayor, city judge and town board member at New Haven, died Monday evening, Dec. 29, at Flaget Memorial Hospital.
He was a retired farmer and businessman and a member of New Haven Knoghts of Columbus Council 2208.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Isabel Hill; two daughters Nelly Geoghagan Bardstown and Irma Roger, New Haven; one son, Raymond Howard, Lexington; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Cora Filiatreau, New Haven; and brothers, Virgil Howard, Chicago, Uriel Howard, noblesville, Ind., Raffo Howard, Louisville, and Linn Howard, Howardstown. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 1st, at 11 a.m., at At. Catherine Catholic Church buy Rev. Clarence Howard, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bardstown, and by Rev. Wayne Jenkins, pastor of St. Catherine. Burial Will be in the church cemetery. Be Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Today Wednesday, in the Chapel of Hagan and Nusz Funeral Home, New Haven, which is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Edward and Joe Howard Rogers, and Richard, Robert, Larry and John Geoghegan.
