Mrs. Aline Carpenter, 50, of 1206 La-Fontenay Court, died there Wednesday. She was the former Aline Edelen, a native of Bardstown and a registered nurse employed at Kings' Daughters & Sons Nursing Home. Survivors include two sons, Scott and David Carpenter; two daughters, Sally and Diane Carpenter; five sisters, Sister Robert Leona Edelen, Mrs. Edward Bennett, Mrs. George McAuliffe, Mrs. Joseph Herrmann and Mrs. Warren Bennett; three brothers, Robert, Stephen and William Edelen; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
