Thomas served in the Privaters of the Maryland line during the Revolutionary war. Hence the unofficial title of "captain" (maybe). Thomas also served in the "Corn Stalk" Militia of KY as Lieutenant 2nd Regiment. He enlisted 10 May 1802. He has been accepted as a Son of the American Revolution. (national # 102527,KY State #1518).
