The 1820 Federal Census states that Charles Boone (abt 33) was the head of household of 2 boys between the ages of 0-10, 3 girls between the ages of 0-10, and one male and female between the ages of 26-45. One person was engaged in agriculture. The known family members at that time were Henry (abt 3) Nancy Ann (abt 8) and Mildred (abt 4). Charles (abt 33) and Susanna (abt 31) were the two between the ages of 26-45, and apparently Charles Boone was engaged in agriculture.

The 1830 Federal Census states that Charles Boone (abt 43) was the head of a household consisting of 2 males under 5 years of age, 1 male 5 to 10 yrs, 1 male 15 to 20 yrs, 1 male 40 to 50 yrs; 1 female under 5 yrs, 1 female 5 to 10, 1 female 10 to 15, 1 female 15 to 20, and 1 female 40 to 50, for a total of 10 "Free White Persons" (as the 1830 Census classified people).
Charles Boone (abt 43) and Susannah (abt 41) are the two between 40 to 50 yrs; children that are probably in the censes are Nancy Ann (abt 18) Mildred (abt 14) George (abt 5) and Charlotte M. (abt 3).
The census also had the classifications of "Slaves" and "Freed Colored Persons."
Charles Boone's household included the following under the classification of "Slaves." One male under 5 yrs, 3 males 10 to 24 yrs, and one female 10 to 24 yrs, for a total of 5 "Slaves."
In total the Charles Boone's household counted 5 males and 5 females under "Free White Persons" and 4 males and 1 female under "Slaves" for a total of 15 people.

The 1840 Federal Census states that Charles Boone (abt 53) was the head of a household consisting of 1 male 10 to 15 years of age, 2 males 15 to 20 yrs, 1 male 50 to 60 yrs; 1 female 10 to 15, and 1 female 50 to 60, for a total of 6 "Free White Persons" (as the 1840 Census classified people). Charles Boone (abt 53) and Susannah (abt 51) are the two between 50 to 60 yrs; children that are probably in the censes are George (abt 15) and Charlotte M. (abt 13). The census also had the classifications of "Slaves" and "Freed Colored Persons." Charles Boone's household included the following under the classification of "Slaves." Two males under 5 yrs, 4 males 10 to 24 yrs; and 2 females under 5 yrs, 2 female 24 to 35 yrs, for a total of 10 "Slaves." In total the Charles Boone's household counted 4 males and 2 females under "Free White Persons" and 6 males and 4 females under "Slaves" for a total of 16 people.
