It is suggested that Thomas Stiles had eight children. an old deed of record in Morristown, NJ mentions eight. Two sons, James and John, were young at their father’s death, and their mother soon married _Goble., and these two sons were raised by Goble and hos wife. The descendants of these live in Philadelphia and they are numerous.61

Thomas died in or near Morristown, NJ in about 1802. By a record in my possession, administration on his estate was granted to his son, David, in April, 1803.61
