Captain in the War of 1812. Appointed Postmaster in Stiles, KY in 1824.58

Was commissioned Lietenant, then Captain in War of 1812 by Gov. Isaac Shelby, Ky's first governor. Appointed Magistrate, Nelson Co, Ky and held the office for many years. He was appointed Postmaster at Rolling Fork, KY in 1824. Held office of executor and was guardian of many trusts.61

Owned 9 slaves in 1850.
