Charles W. Cummins, a former executive of Cummins Distillery Company of Athertonville, Ky., died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence, 2127 Sherwood. Cummins, 73. was connected with the Louisville office of the distillery until his retirement in 1945. The office here was discontinued that year. He was a member of St. James Church and its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Howard; two daughters. Mrs. William Aulenbach and Mrs. A. H. Heinenken. of Amsterdam, Holland; two sons, Charles A. Cummins, of Bloomfield, Ky., and William S. Cummins, and six grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at Barrett Funeral Home, 1230 Bardstown Road.
