She was involved in a love triangle where one of her suitors, who wasn’t Jewish, shot her and her Jewish fiance because he, the non-Jewish suitor, could not marry her. The fiance died, and she survived to marry another young man from Belgium, where she went to live.
She and her daughter, Sarah, were sent to Dachau Concentration Camp, where Sarah, age 12, was killed and cremated.
After liberation she married Franz Bross, whom she met in a displaced person camp, and immigrated to Americas with the help of Blanche Krause.
Lived in Hungary, Belgium and the US.110
