Alice Irene Reeves Morehouse, age 80, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at her residence.

She was born March 15, 1929, in Blue Ash, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Sylvia Brady Reeves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Reeves and Lloyd Reeves.

Her husband, Herbert Morehouse, preceded her in death on June 14, 2006.

She is survived by three sons, David Taylor of Clearfield, Kentucky; Larry Blaker of Mukilteo, Washington, and Jack Blaker of Canal Fulton, Ohio; one brother, Jerry Reeves of Wooster, Ohio; one sister, Bonnie Shultzman of Wooster, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Alice loved cats, and enjoyed her flowers, gardening, baking, and visiting flea markets. She attended the First Church of God.

Private family services will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Blaker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for family and friends is after 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Milo Ray Blaker, 88, of Spencer, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010, at his residence. He was born January 28, 1922, at Wildcat in Greene County, Indiana, to Reuben and Orda (Skinner) Blaker.

Milo served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of American Legion Spencer Post 285 and Whitehall Pentecostal Church.

He retired from the Owen County Highway Department in 1986 after 20 years service driving a truck and worked at RCA many years prior to that.

Milo is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Betty (Livingston) Blaker; his constant companion, a Jack Russell Terrier named "Sporty" whom he loved dearly; sons, Larry of Washington and Jack of Ohio; granddaughter, Michelle Parker of Spencer; brother, Ted of Bloomfield; several grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews; so many dear friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by both parents; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Fern Livingston; sisters, Marjorie Groomer and Sarah Hanson; brothers, Russell and Merle Blaker; and sons, Ray and Joe Blaker.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Whitehall Pentecostal Church with visitation from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church.

Interment will follow in a private service at the family plot of Blaker Cemetery, with a public memorial service at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Nathan Butler Funeral Home.
