After the death of his mother in 1763, they moved to westerm MA. In 1764 he lived in Rutland, MA and had 6 children, all born in Marblehead, MA. Soon afterward he settled in Greenwich, MA, lived there for over 30 years. Believed to have lived about 90 years. His 3 oldest sons were soldiers in the Revolutionary war in 1775.
