Jefferson F. Cloberdants, 81, a resident here for 59 years died at 6:25 PM yesterday in an Aransas Pass Hospital following a brief illness.
A native of Arlington, Cloberdants had made his home here since 1912. A retired contractor, he formally served for 20 years on the Aransas County School Board. Cloberdants was also a 50 year member of the Rockport Odd Fellows Lodge and was a charter member of the Rockport Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Erma, one son, Jim Cloberdants, also of Rockport, and two grandchildren.
The body will be at Rockport Odd Fellows Lodge until noon tomorrow. Funeral services Will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the First Presbyterian Church with burial in Rockport Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Rockport.
