Mrs. Anna Cecelia Spalding, 75, died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 1977, at Mary Immaculate Hospital.

Mrs. Spalding, who made her home in Lebanon, was a daughter of the late John Austin & Alice Elizabeth Luckett Spalding.

Surviving are her husband, Aaron Spalding, Sr.; four daughters, Mrs. Clifton Walston of Lebanon, Mrs. Adolph Boone of Howardstown, Mrs. Joseph A. Osbourne of Georgetown, & Mrs. Donald Boeht of Louisville; four sons, John A., William D. (Bud), Joseph Aaron, Jr., and James Carl Spalding, all of Lebanon; three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Mattingly, Mrs. Patty Smith, both of Lebanon, & Mrs. Lewis Mudd, Jr. of Springfield; four brothers, John, Adrian, Preston, & Harry Spalding , all of Lebanon; 38 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 1977, at St. Augustine Catholic Church by Rev. Lawrence Mattingly, with burial in the church cemetery. Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Stevie, Clarence & Greg Spalding, Nick Boone, Mark Walston, & Mike Osbourne.
