R.Byron Ford Jr., 69, passed away peacefully on October 12th with his loving wife by his side. Byron fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Byron grew up in Louisville and was a member of the Waggener High School class of 1965. He attended the University of Louisville School of Business; graduating in 1969, and was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He worked for Citi Group Financial.
Byron enjoyed skeet shooting, boating and being on the water, tennis, snow skiing, was a member of the NRA, an avid U of L fan, and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; R. Byron Ford Sr. and Eleanor Palmer Ford; and his sisters, Carol O'Bryan and Jean Berry.
