MRS. BERTHA LOUISE HOWARD, 67, died Thursday afternoon at Indianapolis. The body will be brought to Kokomo for burial in Crown Point Cemetery, following funeral services to be held at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Francis deSales Church, Indianapolis. Surviving are three daughters and five sons, Mrs. Monte Wetter, Mrs. Leo White and William Howard of Indianapolis; Mrs. Merrill Bolner and Thomas Howard of Hartford City; Claude and Ralph Howard of Ottawa, IL, and Wayne Howard of Oakland, Calif. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Henry White of Jeffersonville.

ERNEST A. HOWARD, aged 53 years, resident at 1151 South Delphos Street, died Sunday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock at his late home, of heart trouble. Mr. Howard had been feeling ill and asked to lie down, expiring shortly afterwards. He is survived by the widow, a son and a daughter. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Howard was a mechanic and was employed at the Plate Glass.
