Misc. Notes
Geneva H. Howell, 79, of Hodgenville, went to be with her heavenly father Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was a housewife and a long-time member of the Buffalo Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for more than 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Goff Harper, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Elmer Earl Howell; three daughters, LuAnne (R.K.) Graham and Shelia Bloyd, both of Hodgenville, and Kathy Magee of Houma, La.; two granddaughters, Samantha (Jimmy) Boudreaux, of Houma, La., and Jennifer (James) Chauvin of Longview, Texas; and a great-grandson, Jacob Chauvin.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Rodney Troutman officiating. Burial follows in Mount Tabor Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
