GREENVILLE, Miss. -- Sarah Porter Farnsworth Young of Greenville died Nov. 10, 1999, at a Greenville nursing home.
The Bowling Green, KY native was a member of National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and St James Episcopal Church in Greenville. She was a daughter of the late Joseph B Farnsworth and Bena Allen Farnsworth and the wife of the late Peter Dixon Young.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greenville Cemetery, Visitation will be from 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. today at Boone-Wells Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St James Episcopal Church or a charity of one's choice.
Survivors include two sons, James Fransworth Young of Dallas and Peter Dixon Young Jr of Benoit, Miss.; and five grandchildren.
