PHYSICIAN here since 1878 dies of heart attack.
DR. JOSEPH E. BLAND.
Stricken with a heart attack, Dr. Joseph E. Bland, 74 years old, a physician here since 1878, died at 10:00 Sunday morning at his home, 414 West St. Catherine Street. He complained of feeling ill after arising, went back to bed and died shortly afterward.
He was a native of Louisville and attended the public schools here. He was graduated from the old Medical School of the University of Louisville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Bland, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Farnsworth, of Bowling Green, Ky
