Mr. Harold passed away on Tuesday evening at his home in Somerset. He was eight years old.
Mr. Glance was born in Manhattan and lived for many years in the Bronx. He graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and continued his education at the City College of New York where he ultimately earned a Masters in Business.
Mr. Glantz had a long and successful career in the advertising field, He was employed by Columbia Records, RGA Press, Benton and Bowels, Rapp and Collins, Doyle, Dane and Bernback and BBD&O. Ee was also owned his own consulting firm, Hal G Direct before retiring.
He enjoyed gardening, playing shuffleboard and going to garage sales. He played a good game of handball in his younger years and developed an affection for painting with acrylic in more recent times Family was everything to him and he truly treasured being with his wife of 63 years, Phyllis, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis of Somerset and their children Margery and her husband Jay, Michael and his wife Heidi, Miriam and her husband Mike, Jeremy and his wife Jocelyn, Joshua and his wife Jennifer, and a sister Fran Rosenfeld. He is also survived by his grandchildren Allison and her husband Seth, Amanda and her husband Dan, Ariel and her husband Adrian, Daniel, Jake, Brad, Zachary, Benjamin, Carly, Matthew, Eric, Jordan, Olivia, Morgan, Noah, and Julian. Great grandson Logan and niece Lisa and her husband Michael and nephew David and his wife Janice.
A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 15 at Gleason funeral home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset followed by a graveside service at 1:30 at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, New York. Please consider a contribution in Mr. Glantz name to swim across America.
