Robert J. Au, D.V.M., 85, died Aug. 8 in Shadow Hills.
Mr. Au was born in Highland Falls, N.Y. and was a former resident of Burbank. He was veterinarian for 50 years. He was a member of Equestrian Trails, Inc., Corral #20, the Wildlife Waystation, American Veterinary Medical Assn and an alumni of Washington State University.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Kiseskey, Sally Dawson and Shirlee Kurtz; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was held Friday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service
Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Tujunga. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
