Joseph Reginald "Reggie" Greenwell, 73, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 26, 1938 in New Haven. He was part owner of Dean's Milk Distributors, worked part time for Boone's Butcher Shop, a U.S. Air Force Veteran as a radar operator, member of Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, American Legion Post 121 and Flaget Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gonza and Inez Greenwell, three brothers, Robert Donald Greenwell, Joseph Gonza Greenwell and James Noel Greenwell; three sisters, Janice Bailey, Wanda Donaghy and Carol Hall Isaac. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Greenwell of Bardstown; on son, Michael Greenwell (Marilyn) of Jeffersonville, IN; one daughter, Connie Hardy (Todd) of Bardstown; one granddaughter, Brittney Bowling of Jeffersonville, IN; one great-grandson, Ethan Shewmaker of Jeffersonville, IN; one sister, Mary Lois Harned of New Haven; one brother, James Richard Greenwell of Kansas City, KS and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Joe Batcheldor will be officiating. Visitation will be 1 - 8 pm Tuesday and 9 - 10:30 am Wednesday at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may go to St. Joseph Building Fund.
