JOHN F. GREENWELL, 31, DIES AS CAR OVERTURNS - MARCELLA WOOD HURT SERIOUSLY IN ACCIDENT ON NEW HAVEN ROAD - John Frank Greenwell, 31, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Greenwell, of near Culvertown, was killed instantly and Marcella Woods, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Woods, was injured seriously when the automobile in which they were driving overturned on the New Haven road about four miles north of New Haven early last Friday night. Three other occupants of the car were uninjured. ... Other occupants of the car were Martin Greenwell, Jr., a brother, Ruben Gilkey and Fenton Scamahorne. ... Besides his parents, Greenwell is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Culver and Mrs. William Nalley, both of Culvertown; and six brothers, Heizer, Eugene, William and Martin Greenwell, Jr., all of the Culvertown section; Sgt. Charles Greenwell, Foster Field, Texas; and Pvt. Woodrow Greenwell, Camp Maxey, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Culvertown. Burial was in St. Catherine Cemetery at New Haven.
