N. (sic) A. "Alex" Spain, aged resident of the New Hope section, died June 14 at his home following an illness with pneumonia and complications.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Hardin, Charles and Paul Spain, all of Nelson county; one sister and several brothers.
Funeral services were held Friday morning from St. Catherine’s Church at New Haven with Rev. Fred J. Gettelfinger officiating. Burial was in St. Catherine Cemetery.
