Myrtle "Bonnie" Larsen died peacefully at Molalla Manor Care Center in Molalla on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005. She was 93.
Bonnie was born in Zalma, Mo., on July 8, 1912, to Dollie Smith Fish and Urias Irvin Garield Fish-both descendants of pioneer families of North Carolina and Tennessee.
On May 18, 1935, she married Edward Stiles Larsen. She was widowed in July of 2003 after 68 years of marriage.
She is survived by her three sons; Roy Larsen of Akersberga, Sweden; Dan Larsen of Lincoln, Calif.; Ed Larsen of Los Gatos, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In June 1973, Bonnie and Stiles retired to their new home in Mulino. She was a member of Clarkes United Methodist Church and Clarkes Grange. Her greatest love in life was to provide for her family and give back to her community. She had great talents in crocheting, quilting, sewing, painting and homemaking.
