EDELEN - Anna Josephine "Josie," 87, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006. She was born Josephine Bowling in New Haven, KY on December 3, 1918, and was a retired cafeteria manager at the old St. Ann's Catholic School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Edelen. She is survived by her daughter, Jana Pierelli (Gene) from Ellicott City, MD; and her son, Gary Edelen (Vicky) from Floyds Knobs, IN; as well as three grandchildren, Maggie & Shawn Edelen, and Terry Pierelli; and a half brother, Louis Bowling. A Mass of celebration for Josie will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mathias Catholic Church, 2200 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, IN.
