Maria Barbara Willheit was born March 9, 1714, in Schwaigern, Wuerttemberg, Germany, daughter of Johann Friedrich and Wilhelmina Lucretia Haffner Willheit. She immigrated with her family to Pennsylvania in 1731. They first lived in York County, Pennsylvania, where circa 1734 she likely married her first husband, Lenhart Vieruhr/Firor. They were the parents of one son, John Henry Firor. Lenhart Firor passed away circa 1737. Maria Barbara married 2nd on April 21, 1738, in Hallam Township, York County, Pennsylvania, to Johann Jacob Weller, son of Johann Daniel Weller of Diedenshausen, Westphalia, Germany. They were the parents of 5 known children: John Jacob, Philip, Elizabeth Juliana, Johannes and Maria Magdalena Weller. Maria Barbara passed away July 17, 1754, in Frederick County, Maryland.
