NEW HAVEN BOWLING, WILLIAM PAUL, "BILL," 78, died Sunday, December 12, 2004, at his residence. He was a native of Nelson County, a life long member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, a retired union carpenter and a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Rosanne Vittitow Bowling; five daughters, Paula Greenwell, Anna Cartwright, Jeanie Marie Watkins, Mary Ellen Wichman and Amanda Rose Hamilton; four sons, Michael, Joe Fred, Patrick and Dennis Bowling; two sisters, Louise Bowling and Marietta Blanford; one brother, Martin Bowling; 30 grandchildren; four great-grand-children; and five step-children. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home in New Haven. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
