He was ordained to the Priesthood May 8, 1954 and said his First Solemn Mass, May 16, 1954, at St. Catherine Catholic Church, New Haven, KY.
He was stationed at these parishes:
1954 - 1957 -- St. Rita, Louisville, KY; 1957 - 1958 -- St. Joseph Prep, Bardstown, KY; 1958 - 1965 -- Holy Cross, Holy Cross, KY; 1965 - 1969 -- Guardian Angels, Louisville, KY; 1969 - 1971 -- Our Lady of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV.; 1971 - 1974 -- St. Thomas Cathedral, Reno, NV.; 1974 - ___ St. Therese of Little Flower, Reno, NV.
