Howard Johnson, 69, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Summerfield Manor Nursing Home. He was a native of Breckenridge County, KY, and a retired factory worker with the Marley Co. Cooling Tower. He was a US Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of Stites Station Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda DuBey; son, Howard Lee Johnson; brothers, James Eugene, Dennis and Leroy Johnson; and grandchildren, Angela McClain and Christopher and Sara DuBey. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at W.G. Hardy-Valley Chapel, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. Thursday.
