Mrs. Anna Margaret Hughes, 81, of Ekron, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bernard Hughes; a daughter, Loretta Hughes Lucas; and a son, Gerald Thomas Hughes.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy J. (Nellie) Hughes Sr. of Vine Grove and Daniel Lee Hughes of Stephensport; a sister, Mary Lawson of Radcliff; a brother, Joe B. Hall of Flaherty; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many special friends.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, in the chapel of Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg with Deacon Mike Jones officiating. Burial follows in St. George Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
