James married JoAnn Peterson about 1956 in Louisville, Jefferson Co, KY. After JoAnn died in 1998, he married Martha (Motsey) Clark.

CARRICO, JAMES H. SR., 83, of Louisville, passed away Sunday February 6, 2011. Jim was native of Botland, KY. A retired employee of Bell South, a member of both St. Martha and St. Michael Catholic churches and a member of K of C. Assumption Council. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn (Peterson) Carrico. He is survived by his wife, Martha (Motsy) Clark Carrico; sons, Hal (Anita), of Nashville, TN, Mike (Therese), of Greenwood, IN and Pat (Maria); daughter. Ellen Caruthers (Mark); stepson, Brent Williams, (Maureen); stepdaughter, DeeAnn Clark (Jamie); grandchildren, Pamela, Emily Davis (Eric), John (Amanda), Greg, Sean, Ryan, Abbie, Connor, and Kyle; and stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Sydney and Trevor.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday February 8, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with entombment to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman & Sons 3800 Bardstown Road, where a prayer service will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to National Parkinson Foundation.
