Lester H Carrico, 89, formerly of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 1998, in Pensacola, Fla. A native of Holy Cross, he retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways Design Division after 44 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Boblitt Carrico. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Carrico of Louisville and William Carrico of Milton, Fla.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Sr. Mary Corda and Sr. Carmencita of Mount St. Joseph; and a brother, James Carrico of Louisville. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathederal with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home. Mann and Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
