Mary Kathleen Boone Hagan, 88, New Haven, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Springview Hospital, Lebanon. She was a native of New Hope, a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, New Hope.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Hagan Sr.; her parents, Victor Ivo and Mary Willie Watson Boone; five sisters, Jessie Cecil, Alberta Boone, Stella Hall, Louise Sweat and Willie Sweat; two infant sisters; and five brothers, David Boone, Felix Boone, Ivo Boone, Miles Boone and Crepps Boone. Survivors include two daughters, Joann Hagan and Philomenia Hagan, both of New Haven; five sons, James Paul Hagan Jr., Bardstown, Joseph Louis Hagan, Louisville, Murrell Hagan, New Hope, Robert Hagan, Elizabethtown, and Anthony Hagan, Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, New Hope, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jeffrey P. Leger will officiate. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral home including an evening prayer service. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
