MARY KATHLEEN KIRKPATRICK STILES, 86, New Haven, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was a native of New Haven, a homemaker, a lifelong member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, New Haven, and a member of St. Catherine Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Leo “Pat” Stiles; her parents, Carl and Mary Vernetta “Molly” Vittitow Kirkpatrick; five sisters, Florence Thompson, Evelyn Spalding, Vernetta Mouser, Louise Chaney, Norma nix; and three brothers, E.C. Kirkpatrick, Jack Kirkpatrick and Jim Kirkpatrick. Survivors include three daughters, Becky Boone, Marianne Maquire and Marilyn Stiles, all of New Haven; three sons, Lanny Stiles and Edwin Stiles, both of New Hope, and Dean Stiles, West Palm Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Coletta Bickett, Raywick, Bernice Beaven, Lexington, and Doris Reed, Louisville. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church, New Haven, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is after 3 p.m. Friday at Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home including a prayer service at 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Kentucky, 3703 Taylorsville Road, Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40220-1330.Joseph L.
