He married Louetta Howell on 3 June 1960 in LaRue County, Kentucky. One daughter.
Robert B. "Plez" Polley age 86, of Hodgenville, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude "C.D." and Willie Ree Brooks Polley and a sister, Juanita Cottrill.
A wonderful husband and father, he was an avid UK fan and golfer. He was a member of First Baptist Church and retired owner and operator of Polley Auto Parts. Plez was a member of the Lincoln General Store afternoon chat session and loved traveling the roads of LaRue County to take photos.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Howell Polley; a daughter, Monde (Mark) Clore of Shepherdsville and two step-grandchildren, Riley Clore and Luke Clore Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Dr. Paul Richey officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
